Rules of Hicksville Pines

We reserve the right to amend these rules from time to time at our discretion.

Smoking Friendly but NOT in the Rooms

All rooms are non-smoking (this includes vaping), except the 420 Room. Guests are allowed to smoke anywhere outside on the property. Smoking in the rooms will result in an extra fee of $200 per room smoked in.

Communal Property

We expect all guests to be respectful of communal amenities and other guests. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am daily. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Rec Room w/ Jukebox 24/7.

1 Year Olds Count

Humans 12mo old & older count towards your room’s capacity and are allowed only during family weeks or during entire property rentals.

Security Cameras

Guests and patrons should be aware that for safety reasons, we use security cameras on our grounds and inside communal areas. Cameras will never be in areas where there is an expectation of privacy, like hotel rooms and bathrooms. By entering the Hotel premises, you consent to being recorded.

Don’t Leave Your Mess

Inconsiderate and unusually large messes will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50/hr.

Liability

All items brought into the Hotel are brought and left entirely at the risk of the guest or patron. The Hotel, its employees shall not be liable to any guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to a guest to the extent caused by the negligence of the Hotel or its employees. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.

Accidents and Injuries

Hotel guests agree to observe the Hotel rules and any signs published or displayed at our Hotels at any time; to only use all facilities, including but not limited to, the spa during the posted hours of operation; and to take reasonable precautions when traveling around the grounds or using the facilities at the Hotel. We are not responsible for Ice related injuries. Guests should be prepared for potential icy conditions in colder months.
If a guest has an accident or suffers any injury at the Hotel, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident.

Responsible

You are responsible for everyone in your party. Please make sure they read and agree to these policies.

Conduct

Conduct by a guest or patron that is unfavorable to the reputation and character of the Hotel may result in removal from the Hotel. Such conduct may include inappropriate, offensive, violent or abusive behavior, or the communication of information concerning Hotel affairs or other guests in the Hotel to the media. Any guests or patrons who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to the Hotel, or to other guests on the premises of the Hotel, will be liable to removal from the Hotel and held responsible for all related losses.

Every guest and patron binds themself to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of the Hotel. If the Hotel considers that any guest’s conduct on the Hotel premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of the Hotel, the Hotel may with immediate effect expel the guest from the Hotel premises without having to give any reason to such guest.

Illegal Activity

No Hotel guest or patron shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs. No guest or patron shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object which is dangerous, illegal or offensive while on Hotel premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof, including, but not limited to, firearms and weapons. If any such objects are found, the item will be confiscated, the relevant Hotel guest or patron will be removed from the Hotel and, depending on the circumstances, we may have to call the police or relevant authorities.

Registered Guests Only

No one is allowed on the property except for registered guests. No exceptions. If this rule is violated, besides your reservation being cancelled, you will be charged an additional $100 per unregistered person.

Check In 3PM-10PM

No more late fees!! All guests must check in by 10pm, though we highly recommend guests try to arrive before sunset to see/use all the amenities on the property.

Don’t Bring

NO fireworks, tents, chairs, deep fryers, camping stoves, DRONES, silly string, confetti, poppers, glitter, nudity, water balloons or snaps. We are not a campground. There will be a minimum $50 fine for this violation.

Return Your Keys

You agree to pay $75 for lost keys not returned on the check out date. Keys found and returned within 5 business days will be credited back $50.

Use of Amenities

Use of any of the common space and facilities available at the Hotel, including, but not limited to, spa, grill house and other areas is entirely at the risk of a Hotel guest. You must not use any equipment, or undertake any activity at the Hotel, unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner.

When using any equipment and facilities available at the Hotel, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment or facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes your use of them while under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.

Any minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for use of any of the facilities, including the spa and arcade.

Personal Information

We will use the personal information you provide us in connection with your stay, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Promotions

We will, at times, run special promotions and pricing. Promotional offers can not be stacked, ie combined with other promotions. This includes Gift Cards if purchased at a discount.

No Solicitation

Guests and patrons must not solicit others in the Hotel with whom they are not personally acquainted

Use Your Own Credit Card

The person bookding must be the same person checking in. You cannot use someone else’s credit card to book.

Check Out 11AM

Check out is at 11am (sorry y’all no late checkouts permitted). For every 15 mins you are still on the property after 11am you will be charged $25.

There Are Location Fees

Commercial still photography and/or video are NOT PERMITTED unless previously agreed to in writing and is subject to a $10,000 per day location fee if violated. Please reach out to stay@hicksville.com to inquire about commercial productions.

No Speakers Of Any Kind

No P/A Systems, stereos, boom boxes, bluetooth speakers or docks. We have a free jukebox in the rec room. Music, television, and all other entertainment enjoyed in guest rooms should not be audible outside of the room.

Cancellation

You agree to be refunded 50% of your booking reservation for cancellations 8 days or more in advance of your check in date.

You agree to be refunded 0% of your booking reservation for cancellations less than 8 days in advance of your check in date.


Dog Stuff

Dog Fee

There is a $25 dog fee per dog, per room. Maximum of 2 dogs per room.

Clean Up After Your Dog

You must clean up after your dog. Fee of $15/violation.

Damages

Guests are solely responsible for any damages and/or cleaning costs caused by their animals.

Dogs and Rooms

Dogs are not allowed to be left in the rooms unattended. If you leave the property, your dog(s) must leave with you. 

Leashes Required

All dogs must be on leash when outside, our property is not fenced in, its near a highway, and there are cats on the property as well as a potential for other wildlife like deer, bobcats & coyotes.

Dog Aggressiveness

If your dog is aggressive towards another dog or human, you and your dog will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
